I'm Amanda Maugham, I am the Academy community pioneer for Co-op Academy Failsworth.

I am brand new to being a Community Pioneer, but hope that my life experiences will help me with making the community a better place.  My priority will be expanding the Community Fridge.

A Community Pioneer is someone who acts as a link between our academy and the wider local community. This role allows me to get more involved in our local area, making links with local charities, businesses and other organisations with the overarching aim of improving the well being of our young people and their families. Ultimately we want our young people to leave our academy as happy, healthy and well rounded individuals and my role will help to facilitate this.
