Applying for Free School Meals
You can check if your child is eligible for Free School Meals on the Oldham Council website.
If you are eligible for Free School Meals and are applying for this, you must do this through Oldham Council, not your local council, as we are under Oldham Council's jurisdiction.
At the current time, the allocated amount for Free School Meals is £3.10. This is added to the account before lunch time, but after break time meaning this must be spent at lunch time.
ParentPay
We operate a cashless system in which our caterers can access students' accounts through their fingerprint at the till. This is connected to ParentPay, where you can top-up your child's account with money via bank transfer or direct debit. Students can also bring in cash to top-up their account with our machines in school, but cannot use this to purchase food at the till.
ParentPay logins are distributed when your child joins the school, or if you already have a child at this school, the other child's account will automatically be assigned to your existing account. You can login to ParentPay here.
If you have not received a login for ParentPay, please email finance@coopfailsworth.co.uk with your query, or call us on 0161 688 3900 opt 2 for Finance.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any technical support with ParentPay, such as issues with your child's balence or changing your account password. For this, you would need to go directly to ParentPay with your issue by contacting them or checking their Parent Knowledge Base.
If your child is in reciept of Free School Meals, this balance will not show on ParentPay as it is paid through the Council to our catering provider Taylor Shaw. It will automatically appear on the account at lunch time.

Breakfast Club
We offer a morning Breakfast Club for any and all students between 7:45 and 8:10. They have the option of a free bagel, buttered or non-buttered and the option of multiple spreads. They also have a selection of juices or water. This is a free initiative proved by the Academy. The Breakfast Club can be found at the side of the school next to the visitor's car park.
