Curriculum Offer

We offer a 3 year KS3 and a 2 year KS4.

Students complete a personalised options process in Year 9 and begin their 9-1 GCSEs in Year 10.

Year 9

Throughout Year 9, all students will study the compulsory curriculum of Maths, English, Combined Science, PE, Citizenship, History, Geography and MFL.

In addition students will choose 2 Arts/DT/ICT/Computing subjects. Students study these subjects for the full academic year. Following significant exposure and full coverage of the national curriculum. Towards the end of the academic year 3 choices are selected that form the GCSE journey beginning in year 10.

Year 10 and 11

Throughout Year 10, all students will study the compulsory curriculum of Maths, English, Combined Science. Students continue to study Citizenship and PE, but make a choice as to which of these subjects they will follow an accredited qualification course. The remaining subject (Citizenship or PE) follows a core curriculum model, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
